8-Step Maintenance Procedure
- Ensure firearm is completely unloaded – visually and physically inspect chamber and magazine
- Remove fore-end by unscrewing magazine cap and sliding forward
- Separate barrel from receiver – for Bushpig 2.0 use folding break action
- Remove and clean gas piston assembly (if applicable to your model)
- Clean barrel bore using appropriate cleaning rod, patches, and solvent
- Clean receiver, action parts, and remove carbon build-up from all surfaces
- Apply quality gun oil to all moving parts – avoid over-lubrication
- Reassemble in reverse order, perform function check, and store safely
